7th state conference held at Alappuzha planned to start Career Development programme (CDP) by forming a technical sessions committee. Mr. R.Suku, AEE was selected as convener of Technical sessions committee.Every year more than 1000 officers from KSEB will be given classes on various subject relevant in the Power industry. Many other officers, who are not members of KSEBOA also benefit from this programme. In the first year itself more than 1200 officers were trained in 4 subjects, i.e.
1. Project Implementation and Management
2. Selection and implementation of small hydel projects
3. Strategic financial planning and cash flow management in KSEB
4. Conduct of cases and legal matters in KSEB
